You’re in the market for a used RV, so naturally you browse the classifieds and come across a series of ads that say ‘Used RV for Sale by Owner.’ There’s a couple that look like they might fit your needs, but you aren’t sure if you can trust a complete stranger. You place the call, buy the RV and when it’s too late you find out all the problems the owner didn’t disclose.

There are alternatives to buying a used RV from the owner directly. One of them is to find a consignment RV company that specializes in selling used RVs.
