  Best is to cut ignition or fuel and nowdays can even buy very cheap immobilization systems you can install your self.Old tricks are if your car is old pre 90′s most have a dizzy just remove the coil lead.Other way that works on any car and very easy just remove the ignition and fuel pump fuses.Can be a pain doing it all the time but they aint taking the car unless it gets towed.People handy with electronics can buy a $20 kit that has remote and wire it to ignition or get fuel pump ect switches
