Look carefully at the exterior of the used RV unit. Do not buy a recreational vehicle without getting an outside mechanic to look at the engine. The purchase of a new or used motor home is a large investment, so you want to make sure you make a smart purchase on a RV that is up to your standards and safe for your driving needs.

When buying a recreational vehicle, you also need to know where you will be keeping the RV when it is not on the road. Be aware that some communities do not allow large RVs to be stored, so double check your area. Do this before you buy the RV and leave the parking lot to head home.
