Many Vermont state owned parks have them available for rental. The cabins sleep up to four people comfortably, while the cottages are a little larger. A cabin does not have a kitchen, you would do your cooking outside. They do have one plug for electricity. Bathrooms and showering facilities are a short walk away. Cottages offer a little more in the way of amenities. They have kitchens and bathrooms inside and coffee pots, microwaves and refrigerators are provided. Cottages also have full electricity.

And there is no need to exclude the family pet! They are welcome at most parks owned by the State of Vermont, but please keep some simple rules in mind. Make sure your pet has all required shots and always clean up after him. Remember that others are there to enjoy the park, so keep your dog as quiet as possible. Make sure your pet leashed at all times.
