  @mrkmdz In Europe we carry the tank (it’s not big) to the dumping area (smaller motorhomes I guess, and yes I was going ask how do you clean the dump hose – but you answered that one!

  The procedure I use is to dump the black tank first and when it’s about done draining, go inside and dump a couple gallons of water down the toilet (a small trash container works well). Then, lift the hose above the level of the drain and open the gray tank valve. This causes gray water to run back into the black tank, flushing it out again. Once flow stops, drop the hose and finish draining the gray tank. This also has the added benefit of ensuring no "chunks" are left in the hose.
