RVs are a way of life for millions of Americans. Traveling by motorhome is a great way to see the country at your own pace. You can carry more than extra clothes, toys and entertainment for kids. You are also creating experiences that won’t soon be forgotten.

Used motorhomes do come with warranties that last as long as those for new motorhomes. While warranties may differ depending on the age and wear of the vehicle, RV dealers will offer coverage that can make you confident about the quality of used motorhome you’re purchasing.

Maybe you’ve always wanted a top-of-the-line Class A RV, but a million dollars just wasn’t in your budget last year. You don’t have to pay new motorhome prices for the best quality on the market. Often times celebrities or those with money to burn want the latest model RVs to travel in, so they sell off relatively new RVs for up to 1/3 less than the primary cost.

Consignment dealers have made a business out of selling used RVs. With those placing ads in papers, you never know what you’re getting into. Service contracts help protect sales made by consignment dealers and your satisfaction helps keep them in business. When you buy from individuals, there’s no way to ensure you’re getting what’s promised.

There’s a myth that loans on used motorhomes don’t compare to new ones. It’s not exactly true. Loans terms for new RVs can last for eighteen years, but used motorhomes don’t fall far behind at 17.5 years. So don’t let loan issues sway your decision.

One of the benefits of purchasing a used RV is you can get a higher class of used motorhome than you could if you were paying full price for a new one. More bang for the buck.
