The careful organization of this trip is crucial in the terms of you have a planned fantastic time or an unplanned average experience. Below, you will find practical tips on how to have the best Disney family trip.

Money Matters

Disney world is a once in a life experience but do be aware the costs are also very expensive. There are a lot of expenses such as hotels, transportation, food and attractions and in order to not overspend you must look for alternatives to reduce expenditure. One way to save some dough is to get a multi-theme park pass if you also plan on seeing other theme parks apart from Disney World. Packing lunch and dinner is always a smart idea. Food at the theme park is mostly overpriced. You can also save on accommodation by staying in Kissimmee Vacation Homes or Orlando Hotels.

Crowds

Thousands of people travel to Disney world every year and the enormous crowds are a reflection on its worldwide status. The busy queues that we experience every day will be nothing compared to the queues at Disney world and can be a little tiring. It will be much easier and calmer to visit during off peak seasons as the crowds will be significantly less. You are welcome to visit after Labor Day up to the week before Christmas and the third week of January and again up to the middle of May. The busiest times are Presidents day, Thanksgiving, summer break and spring break. Midday is the time in which arrivals are at its greatest so try and arrive at an earlier time. Don’t forget to use the FASTPASS. The pass is nearly always free for those staying in the Disney condos.

Weather

Florida is usually visited by hurricanes but you can have relief in knowing that Orlando is safer compared to areas located near the coast. to be safe always check and monitor the weather in case you get caught in a hurricane while travelling. Rain is quite regular in summer and winter so always be prepared and have the necessary clothing with you. No skin should be absent from sunscreens that are SPF 25 or higher during the hot weather, especially your children’s skin. In order for the sunscreen to be soaked into your skin and work against the sun it must be applied an hour before going out into sun’s rays.

Ride safety

All signs and warnings should be respected and acted upon as they are there to ensure safety. If you or someone in the family has a heart condition, is pregnant, or suffers from motion sickness, do not ride anything that you or that family member should not. No activity is worth putting your health in danger, The rules of height restrictions are to be taken as serious as health warnings. Children can get quite upset if they have been waiting in a queue and are denied access so it would be an idea to know the restrictions before heading into a long tiring queue.
