It encourages people with a Class C motor home or other type of RV or travel trailer to practice giving back to the community when they are traveling.

If Volun-tourism sounds right for you and your traveling Class C motor home companions, you should begin by picking out the cause you want to support. Bring the entire family together and assess what philanthropic cause works best for you. List your hobbies and see what opportunities there are for your Class C motor home family to participate in, such as feeding the homeless, building houses or rebuilding churches, or even helping the elderly.

Have you selected your cause? Now what?

Once you have selected the cause you want to support with your Class C motor home friends and family, you need to contact the nonprofit directly. This will help you find out what giving opportunities there are that suit your needs. Look online at Charity Navigator to make sure the nonprofit is legit. You will also want to telephone the organization to speak to someone directly to help prepare yourself for your recreational vehicle trip.

You and your traveling RV family may not have the time to help this year, so think about other ways you can help. A financial unrestricted gift could be of great help to the nonprofit organization. Look at the website of the nonprofit that you favor to see what online giving options there are for you to donate towards.
